Jackie and Samira held their beautiful wedding in Victoria. They packed up their best friends and flew all the way from the land down under to get married here in Canada. As indicated by the photographs, the entire troupe is prone to fits of giggles—in fact, if there were laughing Olympics, I think this crew would win the gold medal. It seemed that spending the day laughing, skipping, eating mountains of cupcakes, and generally goofing around, was standard day-in-the-life for them. The difference of course, being that today, Jackie and Samira were married!!!! Yay!

It was a beautiful ceremony out in Metchosin, at the house of a Unitarian minister. The home itself was a photographers dream—knickknacks, paintings, ornate mirror’s, grand piano’s and photographic settings galore. So of course, I ran around the house taking copious amounts of photographs, (only partially due to my cupcake-induced sugar high.)I felt like I was one of the group the entire time I was with them, and was sad when I had to leave. Congratulations Samira and Jackie. I’m so happy I was able to end my season with your wedding. It definitely reminded me why I love being a wedding photographer.
