Our last blog post featured Heather and Alex in a book-themed engagement shoot.  This post features the same pair at their beautiful and inspiring book-themed wedding which unfolded last August at Duncan's Fairburn Farmstay and Guesthouse.  Heather and Alex love books and reading so much, they decided to decorate the ceremony and reception site with items made out of the pages of books.  But, out of respect for great literature, nothing was made from the pages of 'good' books.  Only trashy novels and such were harmed in the making of this wedding.  Heather began the process of folding a thousand paper cranes for the altar backdrop curtain as far back as February.  Even the wedding cake was styled as an open book.  And Heather and Alex's poetry professor served as ceremony officiant.Fairburn Farm is a working water-buffalo farm and dairy as well as a guesthouse and event venue.  They are are the milk source for Natural Pasture's marvelous Mozzarella di Bufala and Buffalo Brie (which you must try).  We had the pleasure of petting the newborn calves of this very gentle bovine species.  Venue: Fairburn Farmstay and GuesthouseDress: Shades of White-Maggie Sottero designerHarpist: Alison VardyCommissioner: Lura McCallumVideographer: Paper Heart Films
