Lindsey and George's Hornby Island Wedding

Lindsey and George were married this past June (2017) on Hornby Island, BC at the beautiful and very classy Sea Breeze Lodge.  The lodge was recently rebuilt after a fire a couple of years back and has been transformed from being rather rustic to being rather plush.  Lindsey is a Vancouver Island native while George hails from a large Mennonite clan out East.  The beautiful and powerful ceremony was conducted by the amazing Barbara Densmore.  We had photographed a wedding a couple years prior that she officiated and were so impressed with the depth, meaningfulness and tempo of her work that we hired her to help write our own wedding ceremony.Lindsey and George were fantastic to work with.  Very patient and kind people.  And this was our first opportunity to shoot out at the incredibly stunning Helliwell Park.  And the perfect time of year when the grasses were both green and golden.
