Corey & Rebecca were married last weekend, July 20, at Shelter Point Distillery in Campbell River. We did an Engagement Session with Corey and Becca a few months ago, and loved getting to know them. I have rarely encountered such a laid-back bride, and such a caring, fun and friendly groom. These two are a perfect match and a total joy to hang out with! (I mean four—can't forget about baby Kieran and Mozart the dog). Read the story of this beautiful couple in their own words:

We met in the Fall of 2002 at the University of Victoria. Over the next few years, work and school took us each across the country but we managed to keep in touch and our friendship grew over craft beer in Montreal, an unhealthy obsession with Ryan Adams and a love of Canadian politics.

After losing touch, fate intervened and brought us back together in Vancouver in 2007. A friendly drink at Hell’s Kitchen turned into a date and before we knew it, we had moved in together, toured Europe, added our furry new companion, Mozart, and purchased our first home in Vancouver.

The last six years together have seen amazing times with family, friends and each other. Our engagement on a drizzly night in Rome was one of the best moments of our lives and we are thankful for every day spent together. However, our greatest gift of all came on March 12, 2013 with the addition of our little man, Kieran James Jackson. He has already enriched our lives in ways we could never imagine and we cannot wait to see what adventures life has in store for him and our family.
